Almost 200…

That's it. Chile is yet to celebrate 200 years of its Independence in 2010. It's been uncountable events and people that have built and defined our past, present and future identity. By this moment, we ask ourselves what's the meaning of being Chilean, who are the people that incarns the best our national spirit, what are the most significant facts through our History... Little questions that are still without a clear answer.

Universidad Diego Portales School of Design wants to contribute to this discussion by taking this festive, inquiring spirit to the visual field. RMX200 expects to gather many different visions about our country by launching a great exhibition and releasing a book. So, to celebrate in a big way, we invite designers and artists to join us.

Exhibition will be launched during 2008 first half at CCPLM, the most important place for culture development in Chile, located underground of Government Palace and will feature artworks by 40 chilean, foreigner designers and artists. The Book will collect these artworks plus many others we'll choose from the entries you submitted.
